Tom is responsible for managing the overall operations of InCity. Prior to InCity, Tom was the head of Global Sales Operations at AWS (an Amazon.com company) where he managed four teams, led the creation of the annual worldwide sales revenue budgets, and implemented key performance metrics for the global sales organization. Tom held CFO positions at local venture-backed companies, where he managed the finance, legal, IT, and operations departments. Tom applies his years of experience in deep financial analytics and complex problem solving to create well-vetted solutions to the building owners. He is a CPA & SPHR, and lives with his wife and two sons in Madrona.

Ann Surbridge profile picture

Ann is a founding principal of InCity and applies her 15+ years of real estate experience to the overall portfolio. She is also integral to the purchasing, selling, and exchange process. During her tenure at InCity, she has successfully overseen several major renovation and construction projects. She has also led the lease-ups of multiple residential buildings. Ann is a licensed Washington state real estate broker.

As VP Residential Real Estate, Gaalya is responsible for managing all aspects of the residential portfolio. Gaalya had been with Greystar/Riverstone Residential for 12 years leading various aspects of her residential portfolio including affordable, renovations, institutional clients, multi-site, and new developments. She has been in the real estate industry for over 16 years and is a licensed Washington state real estate broker. Gaalya takes great pride in delivering on owners' goals while ensuring the tenants are happy - a key tenet of InCity.

Jenny leads the commercial leasing across the portfolio of InCity, and additionally provides her guidance and expertise to InCity and its clients based on her extensive knowledge in all aspects of commercial real estate. Prior to InCity, Jenny was directly responsible for 2.5 million square feet of commercial, retail, industrial and flex property. She managed a diverse portfolio for both local and institutional Investors as General Manager of CBRE Asset Services. Jenny is a licensed Washington state real estate broker and has been in the real estate industry for 20+ years.

Jeff leads the commercial property management team. He has 20+ years of experience in property management and analysis of office, retail, warehouse, industrial, R&D and flex property types. He has an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California, Davis and a MBA (with a specialization in sustainability) from Seattle University. Jeff received his real estate license in 2014 and has been with InCity since 2016. Since joining InCity, Jeff has been instrumental in over doubling the commercial portfolio.

Chris Langer

Chris applies his 20+ years of real estate and commercial brokerage experience as a principal at the Broderick Group, a commercial leasing and sales firm located in Bellevue. He is a founding principal at InCity and is active in the sales and leasing activities of its clients and portfolio.

Skip Slavin

Skip has been active in the Puget Sound commercial real estate industry for over 20 years and has been directly responsible for securing over $2.5B in debt and equity financing. He is a founding principal at InCity and continues to advise and participate in the financing activities of its clients and portfolio.


Courtney Buck

Courtney joined InCity in July 2018. Prior to InCity, Courtney was Senior Real Estate Manager at CBRE. Her responsibilities included managing Met Park in Seattle - two Class A buildings totaling over 700,000 RSF. Prior to CBRE, Courtney was a manager for a global retail organization where local store sales exceeded $13 million annually. She graduated from Pepperdine University and is a licensed real estate agent. Outside of the office she enjoys traveling and exploring the Woodinville Wine Country.

Matt Watson

As Director of Finance, Matt is responsible for oversight of all finance related activities across our portfolio. He also leads investor relations, including managing InCity’s investor portal hosted through Juniper Square. Prior to InCity, Matt held management positions at a local investment fund with over $2 billion in assets under management, as well as at Russell Investments where he oversaw the revenue accounting processes for Russell’s US Institutional and Implementation Services businesses. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young. He graduated with a BA and Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Washington and is a licensed CPA.

Jeff is responsible for the accounting related activities across our portfolio. Jeff joined InCity in August 2017 from Unico Properties, where he was Manager of Property Accounting. He has ten years of commercial real estate accounting experience, and prior to InCity, Jeff was responsible for a portfolio of roughly 5 million square feet of office, retail, and multi-family space, including multiple ground-up development projects. Jeff is a Seattle native, and outside of work enjoys photography, cycling, and classical piano.

Steve Brahm

Steve leads our engineering team and is a critical component of "eyes on the building." Steve is always examining our buildings and asking the "what ifs" to ensure a potential issue doesn't become a large one. He has over fifteen years' experience in general maintenance, and has been with InCity since 2011. During his tenure, Steve has created long-standing relationships with all our vendors.

Pru joined InCity in May 2021. Prior to InCity, Pru was a Real Estate Manager with 5 years of experience at CBRE. Her responsibilities included managing Class A buildings in Bellevue CBD totaling 500,000 RSF. Prior to CBRE, Pru has 8 years of experience in parking management. She is a licensed real estate broker and working to obtain a CPM certification through IREM. She’s a mother who loves watercolor painting and traveling.

Karis joined InCity in October 2016. Karis assists in the management of the entire residential portfolio, in addition to being resident manager for properties managed by InCity. Karis received her real estate license in 2019. In her free time, she enjoys being a mom, hiking and roller-skating.

Ozell Owens



Ozell brings over 20 years of engineering experience, handling all facets of building maintenance for projects both large and small. Prior to joining InCity, Ozell was Lead Engineer at CBRE where he was responsible for an office park with 6 buildings and a 16 story high rise. He is an expert in AC/Heating, Heat Pumps and general building maintenance.

Jesse joined InCity in September of 2021, prior to which he worked as an AREM at CBRE. During this time he managed 20+ suburban office buildings and a Class A high-rise property in Bellevue. Prior to CBRE he worked as a CRE Investment Analyst at a firm in Bellevue. Jesse graduated from the University of Washington in 2018 with a degree in Economics. In his free time, Jesse enjoys training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and visiting with family and friends.

Katrina has a drive to increase practical sustainability practices, but at the end of the day she is happy to curl up with her big dog and do a little knitting.

She is a Washington native and a Seattle Sounders fan. She enjoys traveling and flying with her husband, gardening and volunteering with the Seattle Rhododendron Society.

Reed joined InCity in December 2017. Reed has proven himself in the world of building maintenance, problem solving on the spot, and assessing various building areas before they come issues. He prides himself in solving issues on the first attempt.

Cory joined InCity in July 2020. At that time, Cory was new to property management after spending the previous three years in recruiting. Since then, Cory has shown tremendous ability to assist the tenants, find new tenants, and ensure well-managed buildings. In his free time he enjoys running, spending time with friends & family, and watching soccer (like Jake).

Leslie joined InCity in November 2019. Leslie has over 14 years of experience in residential property management at Pinnacle and Riverstone. Leslie has a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a native to the PNW, Leslie loves to be outdoors and do anything active, most recently finishing up her first flag football season. She loves spending time with family and friends.

Megan Hayter



Megan is a Canadian expat who joined InCity in August 2020 and manages three of our residential properties. She is passionate about ensuring current and prospective tenants find their ideal apartments and love their communities. In her personal time, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, collecting houseplants and creating sassy handmade embroidered crafts.

Zachary joined us in early 2020 as a Residential Assistant. Through his dedication to learn and hard work, he is currently a Resident Manager, handing three of our apartment buildings. Zachary has a passion for helping people find their next home and he prides himself on customer service. Outside of the office, he and his wife enjoy snowboarding and going to the mountains.

Beth joined InCity October of 2023. She obtained her real estate license in 2021 and brings over 4 years of experience in property management. Beyond the professional realm, Beth finds joy in family life, cherishing moments spent with loved ones, especially her child. Heather joined InCity in March 2022. Prior to InCity, Heather was a Residential Manager at Greystar. She has been in Property management for over 20 years. She is married and has three children. Outside of the office, she enjoys watching her children play club fastpitch and basketball. And she loves the Mariners, despite their record.

A California native, Kevin has an extensive history managing properties throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. On his free time, he enjoys playing videos games, watching sitcoms and musicals, and visiting local art museums.
